CERTIFICATION FEES
The project certification rates for LEED for Neighborhood Development projects are provided below. The pricing schedule depicts a fixed rate for the optional SLL Prerequisite Review for projects, regardless of project size. Applicants can pay this fee at the time of submission for this review.
For initial and subsequent stage reviews, there is a base fee and a per-acre fee. Projects under 320 acres pay the base fee for the first 20 acres plus, if applicable, the supplemental per acre fee for each additional acre for any initial or subsequent stage application. Projects equal to or greater than 320 acres pay a flat rate for any initial or subsequent stage application. Fees per stage cannot be bundled and must be paid at the time materials are submitted for an initial or subsequent stage review. Fees for credit appeals and CIRs are as indicated. Expedited review fees are in addition to regular certification fees. Applicants must contact GBCI prior to the submission of an expedited review.

2 Expedited fees constitute premiums calculated over and above the total applicable fee for certification review. Applicants must contact GBCI prior to the submission of an expedited review to ensure such requests can be processed.
3 CIRS can be submitted any time after project registration.
4 Appeal reviews are available for SLL Prerequisite Reviews and Full Stage reviews.
It is strongly recommended that projects greater than 320 acres take advantage of the LEED ND Introductory Call prior to submission. Due to the potential hardships larger projects may have in meeting certain requirements of LEED ND, such as the distance and proximity requirements, GBCI encourages the separation of projects larger than 320 acres into separate LEED ND applications each less than 320 acres. Note that each LEED ND application must pay a separate registration fee.
