Biography

Lidia Berger, MEM, LEED BD+C, O+M, is Vice President and National Sustainable Director for the Federal Program for HDR Architecture.

Berger has been a member of award-winning teams on a multitude of sustainability-focused projects with clients ranging from corporations to government agencies. She has managed teams performing Sustainable Return on Investment (SROI) studies for clients such as Johns Hopkins University and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Berger is a strong leader, organizer and problem solver and highly committed to sustainable design. She is a nationally known speaker, noted for her leadership roles in several industry organizations. She is a founding member of the U.S. Green Building Council’s National Capital Region Chapter.
