Biography

As a Principal and sustainable building consultant, Alan has been integral to making Green Building Services one of the top green building consulting firms in the world. Alan’s passion for sustainability is evident in all aspects of his work, whether he is leading training workshops, providing technical assistance on projects, or helping clients find cost-effective solutions to achieve their green building goals. A licensed architect, he has more than 24 years of professional experience and has orchestrated numerous green building projects, including more than 50 LEED certified buildings in North and South America. A seasoned eco-charrette facilitator, trainer and former LEED® Faculty™ member, he has led dozens of charrettes and workshops reaching thousands of people around the globe. Alan’s professional accomplishments in sustainability were recognized this year when he became a Fellow in the American Institute of Architects.
