Study Materials

The test specifications, which consist of domains and their corresponding knowledge areas,  provide the framework of the exam.  The exam references provide the texts from which the exam was based. Together, they form the study materials for the LEED Professional Exams.  Additionally, sample questions, which are items discarded in the exam creation process, allow familiarization with the format and general content of items on the exam. However, the ability to answer these questions does not in any way predict or guarantee the ability to successfully answer questions on the actual exam.

Exam Prep and Study Guides

Some candidates choose to supplement their study of the exam references and test specifications with preparatory classes, books, and other material. GBCI does not provide, endorse, or vouch for the validity of any educational supplement, including those offered by USGBC, aside from those specifically listed in the exam references.
