As the green building market and LEED certification continues to grow in China, there are many examples of individuals, companies and projects that are leading the way. Make sure to attend these special recognition events at Greenbuild China next week.

Leadership Luncheon and Developer Panel

When: October 17, 12–1:45 p.m.
Where: W Shanghai—The Bund, Great Room 2 and 3

The Greenbuild China Leadership Luncheon celebrates sustainability executives and leaders who are truly transforming the green building industry. Mahesh Ramanujam, President and CEO, USGBC and GBCI, will provide the keynote address. This event will also include a dialogue featuring the unique perspective of the region’s top developers.

This dialogue will ignite conversation, inspire change and influence attendees to provide for the sustainable cities for tomorrow. The panel will feature the following panelists:

Learn about a new white paper

For the second year in a row, CBRE and USGBC are joining forces to publish a white paper on the rapidly growing green building market in China.  This upcoming report will continue to update the status of LEED buildings in China and analyze what drives the thriving development. With increasing environmental awareness and central government policies, the green building market in China continues to mature and diversify with more standards and benchmarks. The developments in international markets are becoming recognized, specifically the WELL Building Standard in China. This report will also identify new trends and directions within the industry.

The 2017 Greenbuild China closing ceremony will honor the individuals and organizations who have made a commitment to green building, with special acknowledgements for local LEED and WELL credentialed professionals, those who have supported projects and the recipients of the annual Leadership Awards.

Greater China green building projects will be acknowledged during the Opening Plenary.
