Addenda are currently only being addressed in v2009 Rating Systems, reference guides,
and forms. LEED Errata, which were published for versions of LEED before 2009, can be
found under the appropriate rating system on the LEED Resources and Tools page.

The Rating System lists the intent, requirements and technologies/strategies for each prerequisite and credit as balloted by USGBC Membership. The Reference Guide is a user's manual that guides a LEED project from registration to certification and does not include balloted requirements.

To submit a general inquiry about the LEED Interpretations process or a request for the status of a submitted LEED Interpretation complete the following information.
The Inquiry ID Number can be found in the automated email received once the inquiry was submitted OR by logging into LEED Online. The ‘Formal Inquiry’ menu link will lead to a list of submitted inquiries and associated information.
Do not submit a LEED interpretation using this form. Instead, if you would like to submit a LEED Interpretation, submit a
Project CIR via LEED Online v2 or v3 and
select to have it elevated to a LEED Interpretation.
Please note: LEED Interpretations are subject to different fees and timelines than project CIRs.
