Q: Are there any discounts on the exams?
A: Yes, USGBC members, CaGBC members, and full-time students are be eligible for discounted pricing on some LEED Professional Exams. However, your membership must be linked to your My Credentials account or your student pricing request approved prior to registration as discounts are not automatically retroactively applied after registration.

Q: In what languages are the exams available?
A: The LEED Green Associate and LEED AP BD+C exams are available in French. View the French candidate handbooks. All of the other exams are available in English. We are currently in the process of exploring translating the exams into other languages. 

Q: How do I register for an exam in French?
A: To take an exam in French you must select French as your languageduring the registration process on GBCI's website. See the Exam Guidefor more information on registration. You may change exam languagesafter you have registered or confirm your exam language by contactingcustomer service.

Q: Why are the exams in Standard French and not Canadian French? 
A: Standard French allows the exams to be accessible to French speakersworldwide.

Q: Why did you only translate the LEED Green Associate and LEED BD+C exams?
A: We decided to start with the LEED Green Associate and the LEED BD+C exams because they are our two most popular exams.

Q: Why do the French exams have the questions in English and French?
A: Exam questions will appear in French on the left side of the screenand concurrently in English on the right to ensure that the test takerhas the opportunity to process the exam content in their primarylanguage while still having the original language as a resource toresolve any ambiguity in terminology.

Q: Why are some steps of the testing process (online application, scheduling, and exam references) not in French?
A: Since GBCI does not publish or own the primary references for theexams we were not legally able to translate these documents.

Q: Can credential maintenance activity be completed in French?
A: Yes; providing that they meet the requirements, activities conductedin French are accepted for GBCI's Credential Maintenance Program (CMP).Please note that the online process for reporting continuing education(CE) hours will be in English.
