Event / Marketing Coordinator

About the Role
- Coordinates and leads Greenbuild China Expo & Conference operations & activities, including but not limited to: cross-functional alignment, program plans, registration process, initiatives of event promotions etc
- Manages and develops events calendar and communications with internal teams and event vendors
- Ensure consistent messaging, branding and alignment of marketing communications to the market, e.g. social channels, event mini-site, media, email etc
- Oversees the development and production of marketing materials in conjunction with department head; ensures design and brand integrity conform with branding standards
- Responsible for general admin tasks, include: meeting arrangement, data-base input, claim payment etc

What We Are Looking For
- 2-3 years of experience in event marketing
- Strong working knowledge of media relations, branding and project management a plus
- Performance requires ability to work independently with initiative and discretion within established guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid English language ability is essential
- Experience in the architecture or green building sectors preferred
- Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing or related disciplines
- LEED professional is a plus
- Do some good for the world

Market Transformation & Development (MT&D) Specialist or Intern

About the Role
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with a select group of key USGBC customers and stakeholders
- Build foundational knowledge of each client’s business, operational and technical structure to formulate how USGBC’s programs can integrate and accelerate business
- Conduct prescriptive and analytical research on foundations, corporate and non-profit organizations to determine alignment with USGBC programming and activities; Identify areas for targeted engagement
- Use Salesforce and Yellowfin to track and manage client issues, opportunity pipelines and associated department revenue
- Manage LEED User Group program operations
- Maintain documents and files for MT&D programming
- Manage and support strategic relationships project work and overall strategy for items related to leadership engagement and sector specific market intelligence (e.g. LEED in Motion reports)
- Develop proposals, presentations and other communications
- Communicate effectively with client groups to identify needs, evaluate options and solutions and explore new opportunities
- Other duties as assigned
